Abstract
Acknowledgements Research was conducted to assess the impact of the environmental science component of the PEL Institute on participant's design and successful implementation of MAPs. Three surveys were administered to determine participants' knowledge, attitudes, and commitment to affect change regarding environmental science issues in Pakistanpre-institute, postinstitute, and post-implementation of MAP. (The latter results have not yet been analyzed.) In addition, participants responded to questions about the value of activities and visits at the end of each Institute day. These journal entries were also evaluated.
